Method
This is the House of Commons for 2021–2026: the 44th Parliament (Trudeau) and the 45th (Carney), including members who left, lost, resigned so a leader could run, or arrived by by-election. The catalog now holds 240 members, 107 recorded divisions (78 of them key), 639 committee seats, and a public ethics file on every member. 216 are sitting. 38 have a sourced personal quote; every member has the campaign ticket they ran on.
The kept rate is kept ÷ (kept + broke) on key votes that map to a sourced personal pledge for that member. The national Liberal, Conservative, Bloc, NDP or Green ticket is shown on every profile — it is not the test. A Liberal who campaigned for a real immigration cap is scored on that quote, not the 2021 Liberal open-levels line. If we do not have a personal pledge on an issue, those votes do not move the rate. Missed votes are tracked and also do not move it. A percentage is only shown when there are at least 5 pledged key votes.
Floor-crossers keep the ticket they ran under on the profile. The roll follows the caucus they sat with on that date. A Conservative who crosses and then votes Liberal is not quietly rewritten as having always been a Liberal.
We do not invent personal quotes. Those are pulled from campaign coverage, leadership and platform documents, Wikipedia political-positions pages, and Hansard statements that read as a promise. The sentence is on their profile. Party-ticket language is taken from the 2021 and 2025 Liberal, Conservative, Bloc, NDP and Green platforms.
The division list is every confidence test, every budget implementation, every major public bill, and the opposition motions that mapped to a campaign issue. Procedural time-allocation and unanimous-consent items are omitted. Official totals on each vote page match the public record. Individual yeas and nays are reconstructed from the whipped caucus position, documented rebels, floor-cross dates, and sourced personal stances. Canadian recorded divisions are whipped more tightly than the U.S. House.
Committee seats follow the public standing-committee roster: known chairs, vice-chairs and critics are named; remaining seats follow party quota and riding. Ministers, party leaders and the Speaker do not sit. Ethics files are reconstructed from the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner’s public summary — categories, not the confidential annex. Dollar amounts are not published there, so they are not published here. Named holdings (Carney’s Brookfield trust, Gladu’s Dow pension) are on the public record.
